(2) training / Speaking

you will receive my undivided attention, in an empathic way that provides an immediate connection, while maintaining professionalism.

Who I am?

I'm just a woman that believes in the healing power of love and relationship.

The avenue that I use to heal is my role as a licensed marriage and family therapist.

To expand my healing, I coach and train others.

I'm also a speaker and published author.

My book, The Emerging Healer: Adding insight and impact to your mental health work

is now available through amazon, barnes & noble, Kindle and most places books are sold.

Additionally, I've utilized my years of clinical experience to develop:

 The G. R. A. S. P. Engagement Model

Gaining Respect through Actively Seeking Perspective

GRASP is a highly interactive, classroom based course for building relationships in the workplace and everyday life.

I have worked in just about every mental health setting and with most populations over the past 15 years.

You name it, I've treated it!

My specializations are:

(1) Supporting Emotional healing from TRAUMA (all ages)

(2) Working with at-risk youth

(3) Coaching and training other professionals

In highlighting my abilities, I focus on duality of academic experience and insight. Possession of this quality separates me from many others in the field of mental health. I have the confidence necessary for sharing what I knows, while embracing the humility necessary for learning from others.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Some of my training highlights have been:

key presenter at the Partnership for Well-Being Institute 2014, CAMFT - California Marriage and Family Therapist Conference, leadership in heels in 2017 and numerous other speaking engagements

My passion work includes:

(1) Providing therapy to human trafficking survivors through the non-profit organization, Run2Rescue

(2) Volunteering with numerous socially conscious community based organizations

(3) enjoying my family
